Synching databases with Notes

If you are running your Laptop and Desktop at the same time, then a Domino Server would truly help with the synching process. You could automate it completely by setting up a scheduled replication from each Notes Client to the Domino Server.

If you don't have a Domino Server, then you can still do it, but you need to put the databases on a normal file server, which means that only one client can acccess the database a time.

This gets a bit clumsy and you need to make sure the other Notes Client is shutdown, when you have the other Notes Client running.

Besides, Domino Server costs only $25.75 USD (see https://www-112.ibm.com/software/howtobuy/buyingtools/paexpress/Express?P0=E1&part_number=D53V5LL,D52VQLL,D55MVLL&catalogLocale=en_US&Locale=en_US&country=USA&PT=html&S_TACT=none&S_CMP=none) for companies with less than 1000 employees, so it's really worth the money.
